Field Trip!

September 30, 2009

Today the 8th grade class went on a field trip to the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Red Lobster, and Barnes and Noble. The class left at 9 AM and headed towards Greensburg for the 10 o’ clock mass. We got to celebrate mass with The Most Reverend Lawrence E. Brandt, JCD, PhD. The mass was really nice; when it was done we headed out for a lunch at Red Lobster. At Red Lobster everyone had a great time, and a great meal!!!!!!!  The last stop before we went back to the school was Barnes and Noble. At the store everyone had a great time and bought one or two books they were interested in. Then we returned to the school, and everyone said they had a great time!

Panorama of the East Coast

This Jan. 29 panorama of much of the East Coast, photographed by one of the Expedition 30 crew members aboard the International Space Station, provides a look generally northeastward: Philadelphia-New York City-Boston corridor (bottom-center); western Lake Ontario shoreline with Toronto (left edge); Montreal (near center). An optical illusion in the photo makes the atmospheric limb and light activity from Aurora Borealis appear "intertwined." Image Credit: NASA
