This week the students at St. Sebastian Regional School have started First in Math. First in math is a website on the computer where kids can increase and review their math skills by playing different games. The goal of First in Math is to collect as many stickers as possible. The student in each class with the most stickers each day is given the title “Player of the Day” and they get to wear a special badge the whole day. The class who has highest sticker average per student will win a pizza and movie party. The class with highest average right now is Grade 8 with 510 stickers per student. The class in second is Grade 5 with 360 per student. The class in third is Mrs. Barrass’ second grade with 331  per student.

Panorama of the East Coast

This Jan. 29 panorama of much of the East Coast, photographed by one of the Expedition 30 crew members aboard the International Space Station, provides a look generally northeastward: Philadelphia-New York City-Boston corridor (bottom-center); western Lake Ontario shoreline with Toronto (left edge); Montreal (near center). An optical illusion in the photo makes the atmospheric limb and light activity from Aurora Borealis appear "intertwined." Image Credit: NASA
