The 7th and 8th Grade classes are preparing for the Forensics competition that is to be held on November 23rd, at our school. Forensics is a competition in which each competitor memorizes a speech and performs it for the judges. The judges are looking for certain things while each person is presenting. Some of these things are posture, pronunciation, projection, enthusiasm, and memorization. Each competitor is allowed three prompts, or help, if you forget a word. After the first three prompts you start losing points. Good Luck 7th and 8th Grade.

Panorama of the East Coast

This Jan. 29 panorama of much of the East Coast, photographed by one of the Expedition 30 crew members aboard the International Space Station, provides a look generally northeastward: Philadelphia-New York City-Boston corridor (bottom-center); western Lake Ontario shoreline with Toronto (left edge); Montreal (near center). An optical illusion in the photo makes the atmospheric limb and light activity from Aurora Borealis appear "intertwined." Image Credit: NASA
