halloweentipsHalloween can be safe and fun but at the same time it can be very dangerous. Here are some tips on Halloween safety that you can follow to be safe on Halloween. First, you could wear a safe costume that you won’t trip or fall in. Next, you could teach your kids basic safety: not getting in other peoples cars, and going in people’s houses. Then, you could keep jack-o-lanterns far away so they can’t accidentally set your kids costume on fire. These are just a few of the many things you could do to keep your child safe on Halloween.

Panorama of the East Coast

This Jan. 29 panorama of much of the East Coast, photographed by one of the Expedition 30 crew members aboard the International Space Station, provides a look generally northeastward: Philadelphia-New York City-Boston corridor (bottom-center); western Lake Ontario shoreline with Toronto (left edge); Montreal (near center). An optical illusion in the photo makes the atmospheric limb and light activity from Aurora Borealis appear "intertwined." Image Credit: NASA
