The Penguins have won 3 in a row as the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Flyers 6-1 to keep the streak alive. They beat the Florida Panthers on Saturday, in overtime 2-1. The Panthers have gone 3-1 over the last two weeks, beating city rival Duquesne University 67-58 in double overtime. Their other two wins came over New Hampshire University and Kent State. On Febuary 20th, the 7th and 8th grade students will be going to California University of Pennsylvania for a project. Its called Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science, also known as PJAS. PJAS is where students do a project and present it infront of three judges. It takes months of practice and memorize it.

On November 23rd, the seventh and eighth graders participated in a forensics competition hosted by our school. There were five perfect scores, 19 firsts, and 6 seconds. Everyone did a great job!
