English Fest 2010 is beginning! English Fest is a festival we go to and play games for prizes based on books we read during the school year. English Fest for grades 4,5, and 6 will be on May 21st at Seton LaSalle. Our books this year are:

  • Regarding the Trees
  • Marley- A Dog Like No Other
  • The Lottery Rose
  • Silver Dollar Girl

Large X-class Flare Erupts on the Sun

 
On Jan. 27, 2012, a large X-class flare erupted from an active region near the solar west limb. X-class flares are the most powerful of all solar events. Seen here is an image of the flare captured by the X-ray telescope on Hinode.
