Pittsburgh Penguins Update

March 24, 2010
By

The Pittsburgh Penguins will be facing the Washington Capitals today at 7 p.m. The Capitals have already clinched their division and are going to the playoffs. The Penguins are tied for the lead in their division and are currently fourth in the conference. The Penguins lost their last game to the Detroit Red Wings 3-1. The Pens hope to get back on track tonight to try to capture another Stanley Cup. Sidney Crosby is among the best in scoring and tries to pass the leader Alexander Ovechkin who will be facing Crosby tonight. Critics consider this rivalry between the two one of the best. There will maybe be much scoring. Marc-Andre Fleury will be in goal tonight. He has a good chance of having a breakout towards the end of the season. The Pens are already making the playoffs. It just depends on who they will be facing and where in the conference they will be when the season is over.

Panorama of the East Coast

This Jan. 29 panorama of much of the East Coast, photographed by one of the Expedition 30 crew members aboard the International Space Station, provides a look generally northeastward: Philadelphia-New York City-Boston corridor (bottom-center); western Lake Ontario shoreline with Toronto (left edge); Montreal (near center). An optical illusion in the photo makes the atmospheric limb and light activity from Aurora Borealis appear "intertwined." Image Credit: NASA
