The Bishop was Here!

March 17, 2010

On Friday, March 5th, Bishop Brandt came to St. Sebastian School to introduce himself to the students and teach about his job as Bishop of the Diocese of Greensburg. At the beginning of his visit here at St. Sebastian, we sang and played “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands” and “Dona Nobis Pacem” for him and the entire school. During lunch, Bishop Brandt ate lunch with select students from each grade. At the end of the day, he talked to each class. We thank Bishop Brandt for coming and can’t wait for his next visit!

Panorama of the East Coast

This Jan. 29 panorama of much of the East Coast, photographed by one of the Expedition 30 crew members aboard the International Space Station, provides a look generally northeastward: Philadelphia-New York City-Boston corridor (bottom-center); western Lake Ontario shoreline with Toronto (left edge); Montreal (near center). An optical illusion in the photo makes the atmospheric limb and light activity from Aurora Borealis appear "intertwined." Image Credit: NASA
