Melinas favorite colors are green, orange, and yellow. She said her favorite foods are every single food. one of her favorite artists Mulan. Mulan is also one of my favorite artists too! Melina would name her self cilantro if she was an alein. if she could be any food she would be a cucumber so she could marry Larry from Veggie Tales. I wanted to know what she would do if she was Justin Bieber for a day and she said she would spend the whole day at Mcdonalds because if Justin Bieber and not her. Yearbooks

In the beginning of the year, we made a yearbook staff. A couple eitghth graders started doing it, then they needed help so Kayla and I came to the rescue and helped with the yearbook. I hate to brag, but we did an awesome job! I can’t wait to do it next year! If you bought a yearbook, I hope you enjoy all the work we put into it!

Mega Run

In the app Mega Run, Redford and his family and friends help collect gems, coins, and pop bad guys. Guess what you are doing……………. that’s right your running. While your running you have to watch out for moving plat forms, cracks in the run way and much more. Plus there are different terrains to run on. Happy running.

8th Grades Trip to Hershey Park!

Today is 8th grades day at Hershey park. It’s about a four-hour drive to Hershey. They all split up and go on rides all day long. Then they stay there untill the park closes. My sister, Haleigh, and her friend, Sami had to get up around 3:30 so they can be at the school at 6:00. That’s the time I get up for school!!! One of my favorite rides at Hershey is the Fahrenheit. It goes straight in the air then goes straight down. It was the first ride I went on with a loop and an upside down swirl. HOPE THE 8TH GRADE HAS FUN!!!

Mr. Domiano’s Eraser

Today I interviewed Mr. Domiano’s yellow car eraser,Redford. He was too shy to talk to me so I asked one of his friends, Mary. He said that his favorite race was the Daytona 500! He came in 2nd place, but by only three seconds. He would’ve won if his tire didn’t blow up. He ended up here because Mr. Domiano found him in the store. Nobody wanted him because he came in 2nd place in the race. That is Redford came here!

Chorus Concert

Thursday is our schools first chorus concert! The theme of our concert is colors. And of course we have our favorite songs. Kayla’s is Red River Dances, Katelyn’s is Dark Brown is the River, Mary’s is Blue Moon ,and mine are Blue Moon and Colors of the Wind. We are going to have Mrs. Spang play piano for us so Mrs. Oches can conduct us. Come and see our sucess in our chorus just in our small school!!

The Final Days of School

The days of school are numbered. This week we have two spirit days the include buddy wars, and let’s make a deal. Then, theres graduation, and then the honors reception, and then 7 k’s final day and finally the talent show. Lots of things are going on in these final two weeks. It will be sad because some of the kids from each grade might leave. Its will also be sad to say good-bye to the eight th graders but its all part of growing up.

Mon Valley Track

The Mon Valley Speedsters just started, and they are ready for their first track meet. It is on May 4th at Cal U. Some of the events are 400 meter, 200 meter, javelin, high jump, long jump, and hurdles. The practices are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. It’s really fun, but the running gives you a really bad pain in your stomach.

Minecraft review

Well gamers out there, this Minecraft review is for you. Creative, Survival, and Peaceful mode are all available on the full version. In survival mode there are all kinds of animals running around the place and then there are blocks all a round that you collect to build your house. And in creative mode no animals but you can build your own house. It is made out of all kinds of colors. Well have fun playing on Mine Craft.

Graduation

NO! IT’S GRADUATION TIME!!!! I don’t like graduation because we have students leaving our school. They aren’t just students, they are friends and possibly family. There are 15 eighth graders this year. It’s a good thing because they able moved on and are going to try new and harder things. I can see the graduation mass now, everyone laughing, crying, being happy, and sad. For my opinion, I hate graduation. All the eighth graders have to leave the school and go to high school. The only thing that isn’t sad about it is that if your friends with them, then you can still keep in touch with them. Overall, we will miss our class of 2013 and we wish them the best of luck!
